Longboat Key’s Broadway Street starts at the Public Beach Access and runs to the Longboat Key Public Pier on Sarasota Bay. Along Broadway lines big and beautiful palm trees and some of the tasty restaurants on the island! Turning off of Gulf of Mexico Drive, your first stop on our tasty tour is Whitney’s. What was once a service station is now a cool, aesthetically pleasing bodega & bar that serves up coffee, cocktails, and fabulous cuisine.
Our next stop is Mar Vista Dockside, a rustic seafood spot in an early-1900s beach house with an old Florida vibe. A must on your visit is grabbing a table under the beautiful buttonwood trees on their private beach with stunning views of the Bay. Arrive by boat and park in one of their 14 dock slips ranging in draft depths from 6′ to 12′ depending on tides.
Our last stop takes us to Shore, an al-fresco coastal eatery whose motto is a cool vibe with delicious eats. From your first sip of one of their signature cocktails to the last bite of your Key West shrimp and Scallop Risotto, the entire Shore experience is one not to be forgotten.
